The women’s soccer game against Canada was AMAZING! We went to a sports bar decked out in American swag, and even though they claimed to be an American bar, I had to persuade them to change the channel to watch the game. We got a couple of the British tables near us cheering for Team USA, and then around halftime a large group of Canadians came into the bar. They were very friendly, but it still added a lot of tension to the room. By the time the game went into overtime, the majority of the bar was watching. It was so close! I definitely lived up to the American stereotype of being loud… especially during the last ten minutes. I am SO glad we won, and GO ALEX MORGAN! I can not wait to see the game on Thursday! GO USA!
Let’s go USA!
